Apologies all for the enforced absence!
I’m still here (barely!) and still have some health challenges to face. Having been out of work since February, I still face another month-and-a-bit off, but hope to be back by mid-July.
Please rest assured that this site has NOT been forgotten! There is no connection between the Dose Day and the little hiatus, at all – I am continually grateful for your contributions, and in fact the total accrued is the highest that we’ve given to a single charity, by some margin.
But for the time being, I’m needing to take some time out. As I sit writing this, Bruuuce.com has actually turned ten years old today, and I would have loved to contribute a huge update for you all. As it stands, though, when I’ve had some time I’ve done a little work on something which I hope will be with you soon.
Apologies for taking my time in getting all that across. Don’t be too surprised to see something new before the end of this month! Meantime, thanks for your messages.

Glad to hear from you and wish you a speedy recovery from your ills. Very pleased to know DD4 was a great success, and look forward to the surprises you have in store for us.
We’re all keeping the nest warm for your eventual, full-time return. In the mean time, keep looking after yourself.

ALL sarcasm aside, Si, please, please take the time you need to get back to normal. God knows I’ve been there myself. Don’t worry about us here on the forum. We can keep ourselves amused chatting with, picking on, and harping on each other. If all else fails, we’ll all just start dancin’ with Nicos!!

You needn’t apologize. It’s just important to know that you’re still fighting the good fight. I’m sure Dr. Day will prescribe some Stacked Mary Possumfor you, as that cures all ills (at least for a short time) 😆
If there’s anything we can do to help, don’t hesitate to give us a shout. You have all of our email addresses! We’d do most anything for you.
I must admit, though, that I was considering doing a mock-up of Around The Dial by The Kinks. Instead of Ray hunting down a favorite DJ who has disappeared, I was gonna have it hunting you down to make sure you’re OK.

I knew that your keen senses would detect that your name was mentioned..
The song remains the same was done by Led Zeppelin. I had heard the name before but I had to google it to get the name of the band who performed it. 😳
I haven’t had my dose of Stacked Mary Possum yet today but I soon will! Yum! 😆

Glad to see the forum is still alive, as ever!
Whilst the rest is bordering on moribund, I’ve decided to retire the Daily Dose for now. I have other matters (read: “other websites”) to work on at present, and as long as they are a source of income, I have to concentrate on them!
I was also starting to repeat doses, and with Bruce’s current taping policy, it seems to fit that we reserve the doses for “special occasions”
That’s not to say that Bruuuce.com is forgotten, especially with a tour coming up soon! When there’s something to write about, it shall be written!
I’ll post an update on the site front page soon.
