You wouldn’t believe what happened again tonight! :D

I was on my screen porch, as usual, watching the sunset. A beer in one hand and a cigar in the other. Had XM Cafe on. :D

Get the picture! :D I have my screen porch wired with some great speakers. (The guys “across the river” from me call me “Heuy Lewis” due to my some of my music choices.) All of a sudden, Rainbow’s Cadillac came on! 8) I just had to crank it up a few clicks! :D 8)

After all the “scuttlebutt” recenty about “Camp Meeting” and “Big Swing Face”, it was great just to hear an old, now very old, tune that you just can’t get enough of at “Noisemakers” shows! :D :D :D

It brings back a lot of memories! :D 8)

Anybody else feel the same? :?:

Fun tune. When Harbor Lights was out for a while, I started to get a little tired of it. It seemed like it was the only tune he’d play anywhere. It’s recovered since then, and it can conjure up pictures of playground basketball games every time. The funky beat is very infectious.

Rainbow’s Cadillac brings back a very happy memory of mine that you can read about in MVF’s thread “Favorite Concert Moment(s)”. :D

For a while after Harbor Lights came out, that was all that I listened to. To me, that record marks a turning point for Bruce going from a very pop-like sound to more of the jazzy free-flowing style that he continues to use and evolve today.

What do you guys (and gals) think?

I really like the live,”get-up-and-dance” version of this song-especially 10/15/04,Portsmouth,VA.
While introducing the song, Bruce tells a story about the one-on-one game he and Allen Iverson played that is priceless!
