I know Jackie, Monica and her two kids will be there, too. Oh, and trust me, I KNOW all about cheap accommodations. My son and his wife live in Cary. I THINK they might let me, and maybe a few others stay, too. I’ll have to butter them up. Is there any way we could buy all our tickets at one time so we can sit together??? Not that most of us sit, anyway, but just in case. Let us know ASAP. By the way, I’m really pissed that there will AGAIN be no Biltmo’ Sho’ this year. I am considering retiring my T-shirt.:!:
Monica and I are looking into making a side trip to Williamsburg, VA along with this concert. Anybody else interested?

Mi kno that this may be hard for you, but….Jackie and I already have tics in hand! You must learn to ‘step up to the plate’ earlier! 😆
On the other hand…..Check out reserved seats in section 100. A thru D are general admission. You must get there very early to procure seats. Or, you can get row E on and not have to show so early and still be close to the stage!
Don’t give up on Biltmore, but this will be a good ‘replacement’ as well! A beautiful venue with only Bruce and NM’s!

LL, GAJunior, Abigail and I have general admission tickets….hoping to get up front. Of course we will be there way early. Hope I made the right choice there, but I am hoping to get the kids as close to the stage as possible. I’m driving this year so wish me luck, I’ll probably pass David on the way! Planning on Ramada if anyone needs a roommate unless MVF can get us a place to stay. I’d be more then willing to help out anyway possible. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Going to be fun! Monica
Will be sure to look for you and all the noisetravelers. I bought a GA ticket before noon when they were supposed to go on sale, and just did a walk-through while visiting, unfortunately on Monday when the museum is closed. The seating being most of a semicircle will leave a lot of side views, but it’s a nice setting (shade trees back in the lawn and a pond behind) with a very wide stage. I will be sure NOT to yell at Chuck Keith’s back like I did so rudely on that cold night in Hampden-Sydney! Thanks for thinking of me.

(-: I’ll always buy a single malt for someone who appreciates the nectar. Nadurra, Glenlivet 18, Glenmorangie, The Macallan, a Speyside or any other that you would enjoy is a delight to share.
Since I am “clueless” in the world of groupiedom, someone please educate this ignorant po’ dumm uneducated lil’ ole’ suthren’ country boy about all the vast knowledge I must have to be allowed to associate with the initiated insiders such that I am allowed to attend the mighty musical extravaganza performed by a wonderfully accomplished pianist, but certainly not MY Messiah.
But what do I know? I am so out of the loop I still enjoy the Kadinsky Trio.
I do appreciate all your help in catching up and your efforts to bring a lowly neophyte up to a level of worthiness so he can pay his money to get a seat or place on the lawn.
And LOL, the ‘package’ is not that interested in me or my uninitiated sojourns to join the exalted ones so may come alone, meetup with you or certainly perhaps with a true friend like Jackie et al.
I do thank you for your hospitality and can say it is the same gracious reception I remember from the GROUP in years past and the same as is written about by ‘neophyte’ clueless “offenders” all over the country.

What you don’t know, is that we had traded e-mails earlier in the week and…..We were just rhetorically ‘spurring’! That’s all!….

MVF! You can sleep well at night knowing…..It was not you at all! I will ‘fess up’! It was me, but it was not totally all my fault. Seems there was some sarcasm that popped up and at that time, I felt the call to take a stand for some friends. Just a rhetorical debate between two ‘hard headed’ males! Both of which, probably thinks they are intelligent, but are dum in many ways. Some of which was meant to be funny in nature, but probably got carried away a little too much, the board not knowing the full dynamics of what had happened ‘behind the scene’. Si did the right thing! I am ‘pointing the finger’ at me! I take full responsibility for my actions! Please understand that…..At that time, felt the call to be a ‘defender of the flag’! Peace!
