Just remember I will be there with two kiddos, so we need to make this meetup kid friendly please!!! I don’t want to have to miss it or seeing my dear friends due to the fact I have two kiddos who they might not let in!
So I’m voting for the picnic idea…and I will try to bring something from the great state of Texas to share with all!
Also MVF I have a little change in plans will be writing you a letter or email soon to let you know very soon!!

On the other hand….MVF did bring up the picnic idea early on! That would be ‘kid friendly’! I was also trying for a ‘tailgate’, but that is not allowed also! Was going to grill some shrimp, steaks, burgers, brats for all, but the ‘management’ said ‘no’! Maybe I’ll still try that, but someone must be responsible for bailing me out of jail!
…..Wow!!! Do you realize!!! I just noticed that there has been over 1000 views on this post!!! So…..For a ‘compromise’…..All ‘barking cows’ must attend and respond!!! For the first time ever, we must have two meet-ups!!!
One that is ‘adult friendly’ and one that is ‘child friendly’! From my understanding, gates don’t open till 6:00, soo we can do both!!! An adult meet-up and then picnic in the park! Jackie will be the ‘behavior monitor’ and be ‘in charge’ of any ‘personality disorders’ ! …..I did get the ‘word’ today that gates don’t open till 6:30 and……Iris will be handling a special concession for us!!! Food and unopened drinks are allowed! Coolers? Not a problem at all, but beer and wine must be purchased at the venue. Unfortunately, no grills are allowed! ‘Dad gum it’! Was goin’ to put on the ‘rasta’ and jerk for all!
We must have another meet-up before our ‘picnic meet-up’! Details to follow on that! But, for this occasion, we must have the first ever two meet-ups!!! You will have the opportunity, the first time ever, to to either choose meet-up ‘A’, meet-up ‘B’ or meet-up ‘A’ and ‘B’!!!! I’m sure all this is too confusing for MVF, but…..Don’t touch that dial! More details to follow soon! …..Wow!
Is this the first “double meetup” in Bruuuce.com history?
I’m putting tentative reservations in for Meetup A and Meetup B,for now. When the plans are more concrete,I’ll have a more definite answer.
I do have a definite answer on one thing I’ll bring to the picnic-peach cobbler for everyone!

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wondering since I will probably be the only one who doesn’t fall over drunk this time around, due to have two little people with me, should I be the holder of the keys again. Sure wouldn’t want MVF loosing them again…and no falling either!!! I can only bring so many band aids, and you better like those cute character ones!
Can’t wait only 13 more days, think I might have to start packing already! Let me know if anyone is interested in any baked goods from Texas, will do my best to bring a surprise, but I’m excellent when it comes to cookies! Something for the picnic more then likely, but I’m going to try to make it to both meet ups.

If so, upon Jackie’s orders, the ‘board of education’ will be applied! I’m sure Rodino’s is child friendly also since it is the spot where locals go before hockey games. 1). I have NEVER gotten “falling down drunk”. If you remember, I fell down the night BEFORE the Biltmo’ Sho’……….
2). I only LOST the car keys once, and, really, we knew right where they were — locked in the backseat of my car in the Biltmore parking lot. At 12:00 am. BTW, I absolutely love the security guards at the Biltmore. All of them. Whom I have all met. Numerous times. Seems they know ME by name, too. Wonder why…………
3). At my age, I don’t get drunk, I get “mellow” — and I have never gotten falling down “mellow”, either! And I don’t have more than one drink when I am going to be around “little ones” — and it has nothing to do with having taught elementary school for twenty years………
4). …….however, any time I have to deal with Dreadlock Dave, I HAVE to have a couple, just to get mellow enough not to smack him around….
5). I prefer Hello Kitty band aids. Or Scooby Doo………..

The first meet-up will be held at 4:00 at Rudino’s! It is only less than five minutes from the venue! It is very much ‘child friendly’, have a great patio area outside and they are expecting all ‘bruuuce misfits’ to attend!
