What a great song selection! During Mandolin Rain, MVF looks back and asks ‘Black Muddy River as well?’ I tell MVF just to ask and Bruce probably will! MVF shyly shouts out ‘Black Muddy River!’ Bruce looks at MVF, nods his head and goes right into it!
…..
Tee-hee! “MVF shyly shouts” ……. I’m positively blushing!

ParticipantBruce was very much ‘in tune’ to listening for request! Seems he was wanting ‘guidance’ from fans vs written requests! Thus he did! With the exception of Monica’s med bottle! Thus, he did that as well! I guess my fav song was Tango King! When Bobby broke out, I very daintily just said ‘Bobby’! Bruce nods and says, ‘Bobby’! Hopefully, that was recorded!!! I’ve been to two or three shows, but that was the best rendition ever! What a great show!!!

ParticipantEveryone has been right one, great show. So happy Bruce loved my request, seems everyone else thought it was a good request idea as well.
MVF…thank you for all you did for me, hubby and the kids! Junior and Abigail loved spending time with you. I can’t thank you enough for all you do for them!
Good to see all my Bruuuce.com friends(Jackie, David). Always good to see my friends on the east coast, always sad to leave, but someday I will return!
I will send pics to Si as soon as I have them sorted out!

I even have some of it on tape for proof. >:-}
If you don’t straighten up and fly right, you may quickly find yourself stranded on Easy Street!

ParticipantHey, Jackie, I really should have gotten back with you way before now about a couple of items:
1. Thank you so much for helping set up the “Picnic” Fiasco! And THEN, you even helped me frantically pack everything back up when the skies opened up.
2. I am so sorry that things were so confusing after the concert. By the time I realized that we had a bunch of your picnic stuff in our van, I could not find you. A lot of stuff got wet while stored in the cooler.
3. Oh, about that humongous pan of peach cobbler that “accidentally” got left in our van …. Monica, John, the kidlings and I enjoyed a delicious midnight snack. They couldn’t take it with them all the way back to Texas, so I ended up with it. Well, I am the only person at my house who will touch peaches, so I made the ultimate sacrifice and dropped it of with my son and his wife on the way home. I made big-time Brownie points with them on that!!!!!
4. As I stated before, for reasons only you and I know, I was able to attend this wonderful concert. Someday, I hope to be the one that can clear the way for you to be able to attend a BH+NM concert. I’m still awaiting the day that our schedules work out so that I can furnish transportation and accommodations for a concert. If we could get Monica and Lelie to come along, we could have an old-fashioned slumber party!!!! Sound good??????

ParticipantI agree with MVF…great cobbler. So much, that we didn’t seriously have room. Next time remind me not to pack so much, but with kids and going that far, you never know what you will need. I still need that recipe…I hated leaving it behind, we could have really feed all the devotees and the band with that stuff! It was good. I am still missing it!
I love the idea of the slumber party! You never know what the future holds…your all great friends to have!
Will keep in touch, and I promise to get those pictures to you soon MVF!
