ParticipantHappy New Year everyone!!
I’m really hoping that the master of prestidigitation will cross the pond and play live for his European fans again this year. I hope even more that he can bring The Noisemakers with him so that we can all have a damn good party!
Failing that, might a return to the Tivoli Theater in Chattanooga be possible in 2007? I was at the show in 2005 and it was awesome, thanks in part to the great acoustics there.
Whatever happens, I intend seeing a show somewhere this year!!

Jonathan,
On the official site’s Guestbook, Bruce has said 2007 was a possibility for a return to England. But his latest entry says something to the effect that he’s “trying to stay closer to home in ’07” — which I find somewhat disconcerting, considering he’s got two records coming out (!).
I hope he does find time to promote these albums and to make a return trip to Chattanooga (with Ricky Skaggs — hint, hint). I’d do whatever I could personally to roll out the red carpet for him!

ParticipantBruce for Japan?
Haven’t heard of Bruce being in Japan since the Live “TWII” CD back in 1987.
As a servicemember over here in Okinawa, it is hard to get back to the states to check out Bruce.
Come on Bruce, I am sure Tokyo loves you!

ParticipantHi Bryan,
any idea how the dates with Ricky Skaggs are going to work? Will the Noisemakers be there, or will it be Ricky’s band? (or both? that would be one full stage!)
March 28, 2007 at 8:05 pm #27215bryandunn
ParticipantHi Allisa – I have not heard. The one that will be really interesting (in my mind) is Jamestown. Bruce has performed with all these folks, so he could do solo, with NoiseMakers, Ricky, and Chaka! The possibilities are mindboggling….
But, you have everything I have. Perhaps Si has heard something?
March 28, 2007 at 8:54 pm #27216Si Twining
KeymasterI don’t know any more, I’m afraid. Sorry!
April 11, 2007 at 9:10 pm #27217Si Twining
KeymasterSorry – I’ve had to delete a couple of posts on here because the dates haven’t been officially announced by the venues yet. You weren’t to know, so not a problem.
For that reason, I’d again advise people to avoid Pollstar – some of the dates of there are unannounced, and others cancelled.
The only reliable source for Bruce’s live dates is the official site – without wanting to put any undue pressure on Bryan!
April 11, 2007 at 11:26 pm #27218bryandunn
ParticipantThanks for the quick update to the forum Si – no pressure (now many seconds are on the clock again? I don’t WANT the last game winning shot!).

Sunday, August 19, 2007 @ 7:00PM
Red Butte Garden Outdoor Concert Series in Salt Lake City, Utah – Bruce Hornsby and the NoiseMakers
* Location: Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, UT (map)You have my apologies for the confusion. As venues announce their lineups for tours, we’ll be updating the site. Send all snide remarks my way…. 😳
April 12, 2007 at 12:41 am #27219treah
ParticipantTwo solo shows in NC??! 😮 I’m dreaming this, right? If I am,don’t wake me! If the stars line up right,I’ll be going to both.
Excuse me while I mark one more day off my calender…One day closer to the shows!
Jackie
