So, to pick up the thread of the topic formerly known as Biltmo’…
I don’t know about turning the casa de MVF into a depot, but I’m willing to help out however I can.

Well after some great thought, I think I’m going to have to count myself out. As much as I would have loved to bring the kids to see the ships, Bruce and anything you had planned for fun MVF…I just don’t think I can come up with the funds for this one. Just too short notice…but I am keeping my fingers crossed for next summer…which gives me plenty of time to save up!
MVF….should be mailing you a card out soon.
Everyone have a blast…share lots of pictures with me and tell Bruce I said hello!!!
Hoping something gets added a little closer to Texas this fall….always hope!

I just noticed that the Infamous Stringdusters are playing before the Noisemakers. Although I wasn’t brought up with Bluegrass, I can tell you that these are some of the most bad-ass instrumentalists on the planet with many original hot licks. Very progressive-jam capable on traditional instruments. Also noticed that a Harbor Free transit wristband from motels on the shuttle route is good for 50% off at the zoo and excellent Norfolk Botanical Garden if you like a good walk.

Long, time ago, way back when……Victor came up with this coveted titled, that has seemed to stick with a few others as well, besides me, and now you! There has also been “Talk of the Town”, “King of the Hill” and a few others!…..
Don’t get your panties in a wad over this! 😆 It just gives you a license to “blab” and be forgiven for whatever you “blab”! 😆 Before now, it just means you were not one of the “chosen blabbers”, but…..Everyone knew that you were anyway, eventhough your were held “accountable” for your “blabbery”, at the time! 😆 This just means that……You can now “blab” at will, but……Everyone always knew that you “blabbed” at will anyway! 😆 ……
On the other hand…….I guess this also means……You are now the oldest, but not the original, Czar of Blabbery??? 😆

When BR played at the Opening of the Harrison Opera House way back in 1993 (??), he was wearing an Ohio Playets T-shirt ( black, of course ). ***Roll call — who’s going to be there???
***Meet up –it’s been awhile since I’ve been to Waterside (the collection of shops, restaurants and pubs immediately adjacent to the Harborfest venue), but there used to be a really great hangout called Phillips Seafood. We could meet there around fivish for drinks and nibbles. Am up for alternate suggestions. At the Biltmo’, I usually provide a quantity of the house wine (Biltmore House Zinfindel) to all my friends, acquaintances, and hangers-on in line in order to toast the upcoming concert. If anybody can find an indigenous spirit for Norfolk, I’ll pop for a couple of rounds…… Or we can just drink our usual ripple.

We will get together near the front of the stage around 6:00 – 6:30. I know there is another concert before Bruce’s, but that just seemed the easiest. What we do from there will be decided by the group.
Remember, first round is on me!!! I’ll be wearing my black 2002 tour “Big Swing Face” T-shirt. I am working, as we speak, on my requests for the show. 😆 Hope to see y’all there!!! MVF

This probably goes without saying,but don’t forget to take along lots of Bruce’s music to play in the car during the trip.
