Enjoyed the gig and thought the support helped also. Just thought there might have been a few.more requests and it seemed to end rather abruptly. The age of innocence request also gave us all a giggle. ‘age of innocence-come on!!!” thoughts please.

Bruce’s reaction to that request was good natured – and drew a laugh when Jerry Douglas actually thought that WAS the name.

We got 2 1/2 hours out of them and you could tell (as always) they were having a ball, and Bruce was genuinely appreciative of the crowd.

    However!

See the separate thread on some of the Facebook reaction, which I found quite bizarre.

see what you mean about the facebook page, seems to be a real mixed bag of views, appreciate we got over two hours – guess i just didn’t want it to end, as for ending abruptly, i thought maybe bruce wasn’t feeling the love back from the crowd, i thought they were a bit tough…

Not really in agreement on the abrupt ending – we got two songs in an encore. I spoke with Bruce afterwards and he appreciated the crowd’s interest in what he does.

    Hopefully he’ll be back!
