Noticed on Amazon that the Japanese import http://www.amazon.com/Levitate-Bruce-Hornsby-Noisemakers/dp/B002GKRSWA/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1260573087&sr=8-4of Levitate has an extra track, “Too Much Monkey Business.” Does anyone have or has anyone heard this complete track. The 30 seconds on Amazon sound pretty cool. Wonder if it is from the upcoming musical? Also haven’t seen it in any setlists I’ve looked at…
All I could find is that “Too Much Monkey Business” is originally Chuck Berry song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyipWCVPIeI that was covered on Leon Russell album “Anything Can Happen” from 1992 produced by Bruce.
I also wonder if there is any connection to the musical, anyway — from that 30-second sample — it is a cool version, thanks for finding it!
Most you guys weren’t even in diapers when that one came out! 😆 That would be a great rendition for a show!
