What are some songs you feel are under appreciated? Either by fans, by the Noisemakers themselves, or just in general?

I say The Red Plains and Great Divide.

I would vote for The Tide Will Rise. According to Brucebase it was played for the last time in 2006.

    Pastures of Plenty, for one.

Exactly my answer. Pushed for a second, I’d say Take Out the Trash…! In fact, most songs off Big Swing Face! They take on a whole new personality when played live.

The songs already mentioned, definitely. I would add:

In no particular order: Heir Gordon,Carry The Water,Till The Dreaming’s Done,Sunlight Moon and Listen To The Silence.

I’m with Si about the songs on Big Swing Face. I am one who has always really liked the album and the band takes the songs to great places. Bruce’s solo renditions of The Chill and This Too Shall Pass are mesmerizing!

The Noisemakers performed Take Out The Trash while we danced on stage in Indianapolis in 2004. It’s one of my best concert memories!

Lost in the Snow and Mirror on the Wall

I too, agree alot of the songs of Big Swing Face have new life when played live.

Since I’m the “ole man” here…..I get to vote twice! 😆

Pastures of Plenty and Place Under The Sun! Seems they have a “common denominator” too! Anyone know what that is?

    Still havin’ a ball! :D

“Lost in the Snow” is also my choice.

As for Big Swing Face, I am appreciative of every live performance of a song from that album, but, at the same time, I consider Big Swing Face a magical album, a work of real genius.
