ParticipantRe: What are you looking for? –> Villa Montalvo DVD 7/2/2002
Hello!
I’ve been trying to find, for 7 years now, the video that was made during the Villa Montalvo show in Saratoga, CA on July 2nd-ish 2002 (it was the first week in July that year.. not positive it was the 2nd). There was a whole film crew there, I believe from Apple, or another video-savvy tech company from Silicon Valley. The guys working on the film said it was a project for a film crew to make this into a full length DVD.
Anyway, I know the film got finished, because my ex-girlfriend saw the show on an airplane in-flight film a couple of years later. I inquired with Bruce’s management about the availability of the video, and I guess they scrapped making mass-duplications for budgetary (or other) reasons.
I actually was on-stage dancing at that show, and would really REALLY love to find the DVD somehow. can you help???
THANK YOU!!
Jeremy

ParticipantRe: Bruce Hornsby on Crossroads with Ricky Skaggs
Does anyone have a copy of the show Bruce did on the CMT television program called Crossroads with Ricky Skaggs? It has the loveliest version I have ever heard of The End of the Innocence. My copy has been damaged and is no longer playable. Please let me know if you have a copy, can make me a copy, or who I could contact for one. I really miss having this. I will be happy to pay for shipping costs, etc.
Thanks. aspeningalls@att.net

ParticipantI’m looking for 8/13/11 Portsmouth, VA (w/ Flecktones set if possible). I saw 2 mics in the audience. I know one of them came out unlistenable. I’m hoping the other guy eventually decides to up this show. Also looking for 2/25/12 Newport News, VA.

ParticipantSi, first off let me say how much I appreciate all you do for us, sincerely. I’m looking for any live versions of “Shadowland”, and “Love Me Still”. I already have Shadowland from Charleston 02′ and Love Me Still from Intersections and Ireland 04′. (thanks to Kate on this board). But we all know how much each performance can differ from the other and the magic that can come out from that small improvisation. Anyway, thanks for your time.

ParticipantHey, I’m new to the forum and I’m looking for a recording of a Bruce solo show at the Peace Center in Greenville, SC, on February 15, 2012. I shouted a request for “Who Takes Care of Mom?” and got a great response from Bruce so I’m eager to get a recording of that show if one exists.

ParticipantI am looking for the date and any other information on a Bruce Honsby show from 1989 in Seattle. I suspect the show would have been in April or May of that year. I don’t see a tour history listed here or in the tape trading area. If anyone has any information I would appreciate it, thanks.

ParticipantDitto on the SNL.
I can’t find it anywhere and I’ve been searching for years. Its not on Netflix as they don’t show the full SNL episodes.
There is a brief glimpse of the performance on the show Best of SNL 80’s its within the first 30 minutes.June 3, 2014 at 12:14 pm #26070Paul

KeymasterHere we go… I don’t know how long YouTube will keep it up for, because SNL seem to be very stringent about keeping only the official material up there, but we’ll give it a go…

On another note, what kind of piano is Bruce playing? I’m assuming it’s a type of electronic keyboard….can’t tell the brand..

ParticipantDoes anyone know if the 2012 London solo gig at Shepherd’s Bush was taped and is available anywhere? It’s the only Bruce gig I’ve had the pleasure of seeing (Front row – woo!) and would love to have a copy of it for memories sake. Hopefully he’ll do another UK visit at some point.

Participanthi!
i assume this isn’t available, but Bruce played a solo show in Richmond, VA in 1997 as a fundraiser for the VA Dem party. i was working there at the time so i got a chance to bring my folks and some friends and we all had a blast. sipping whiskey from a state senator’s flask… watching my normally reserved mom yell out for her favorite songs… sneaking into the meet and greet so she could say hi to Bruce…
anyway, i forget the exact date but it was late summer/early fall of 97 for sure. just wondering if anyone has this show, as my mom and i were reminiscing about it the other day, and i’d love to get her a copy.
thanks!
