KeymasterWithin the next week or two, we’ll be sitting down with Bruce to look back at 2014 and ahead to the coming year. It’ll all go up in the next podcast.
So if you have any burning questions for Bruce, now’s your chance. Please post them below, or contact Si through the usual routes on Bruuuce.com.
Thanks!

ParticipantHere’s a cliche interview question but always fun to hear the response “Do you remember and if so can you describe hearing yourself for the first time on the radio”

ParticipantHow did you like Chevy Chase’s Greendale anthem (The Way It Is)? Would you let me hire a horn player to join the Noisemakers at the Brevard Music Center Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium?

ParticipantI’ll try to behave and limit myself to 3 questions…
1. I saw both the opening and closing performances of SCKBSTD in Norfolk. Will there be official releases of more songs from the musical like “Holy Trinity” and “If The World Only Knew”? I really dug the songs!
2. How challenging has it been getting the new Noisemakers members up to speed given the band’s huge catalog and tendency to turn on a dime during live shows?
3. Any memories you’d like to share of the time you spent working with Robin Williams?

Participantooh so many questions! But i’ll stop myself at two
1. There was an interview you did a few years ago where you said you weren’t keen on your vocals from the early albums and I found that interesting and wondered if you could elaborate on what you didn’t like about them and what has influenced your change of vocal style over the years?
2. I’m an avid book reader myself and am always interested in what my favourite artists enjoy reading, so what books are you reading at the moment?
Can’t wait to hear the podcast!

ParticipantWhat was the most recent concert you went to as a fan?

ParticipantWhich of these questions got to Bruce?

ParticipantThanks for the podcast Si! Always love listening to them.
I missed this thread, I would have had a bunch of questions. The only thing I wish you asked him was his evaluations on the new Noisemakers and just general talk on that.

KeymasterI had a lot more to ask, including some of the above questions, but we didn’t get to everybody’s. Definitely enough left over for a next try…
(As it goes, Bruce talked pretty extensively about the “new” Noisemakers in the previous chat. That was after their first run of shows, and they’ve not played many more since then).
