Wild Frontier “Electric sun, electric hair, Leather skin , leather underwear”
(Heir Gordon has “undergarments”)Here’s a stumper, though: which song mentions a kazoo?
Allisa
ParticipantI had fun with it, too. I had to take my husband to the airport that afternoon, so I grabbed all my BH CDs and while my husband was driving, I pored through the liners to look up the last few I couldn’t get. Good thing I found them all before we got there or I would have been quite the menace on the freeway driving back! Too bad I didn’t get my answers in sooner…

Chateau St. Michelle Summer Concert Series in Woodinville, Washington – featuring Bruce Hornsby and Ricky Skaggs
* Location: The Winery grounds in Woodinville, WAuh oh…I notice this has slipped from the radar on the bh.com/tour page. The one show I have a decent chance of making this summer…
Is it not happening now, or is it just that the winery hasn’t announced their lineup yet?*** Nevermind – just got a sneak peak email with their summer lineup – it’s still a go!
Allisa
Participant😥 Here’s my take on this: since Bruce is doing so many different kinds of shows this summer and his ad hoc bandmates (i.e. Ricky, Christian, Jack) might not allow taping, a blanket “no-taping” policy is being issued for the summer to cut down on confusion and (hopefully) will be lifted once they get back into a strictly Bruce and the Noisemakers groove. I have absolutely no official information, this is just my wishful thinking.
Throw us a bone, Si!?!?!?!?

ParticipantI wasn’t happy with the transition into EOI, so I fixed the ‘cut’ between tracks. You can re-download track 05b-conversation and then 06-End of the Innocence if you’d like! (I only redid the mp3s – haven’t tackled the flacs, yet, but can if anyone wants me to…)

April 14, 2007 at 3:35 pm in reply to: In Honor of Daily Dose Day…. Here is the best link I have found so far!!!!!! #28453Allisa
ParticipantI listened to a show the other day and after it was fully ‘loaded’ in Windows Media Player I was able to save the file as .wma.
Allisa
ParticipantThanks, Bryan. Lots of different things that can be added, too. Venue pictures and addresses, links to their websites and ticket info, and on completed shows maybe a link to the setlist, pictures, torrent on etree and eventually the official release from MunckMusic. So many possibilities, so little time!!!
Allisa
ParticipantI’ve been playing with the new Google “My Maps” feature and have mapped out all the 2007 tour dates here: http://tinyurl.com/2c7kzp
I tried to get the markers as close as possible to the actual venues but may be slightly off in some cases.
Allisa
ParticipantI took a sneak peek (listen?) over the weekend and am hugely impressed! “Pastures of Plenty” is getting heavy rotation on my playlist and “The Way It Is” in 5/4?!? Absolutely brilliant! I’ve tossed this request on stage several times over the years and it’s great to finally hear it other than in my head.
And these are only the first 2 tracks! There are many other gems to discover and I’ll rave more later.
Thank you to all that contributed and especially Si for putting it all together!!!

ParticipantDaily Dose Day(s)
From Si:
It looks like I could be out until tomorrow … we may have to do [Daily Dose Day] in two halves, and all converts will be open for an extra day. The most entertaining dose of the day may have been a tape of me on the phone to my ISP…
Allisa
ParticipantUh oh – just got a message from Si’s cell phone: his connection is down.
(and here I thought he’d just nodded off for a bit…)Hopefully he’ll be back up again soon for updates and if I hear anything else I’ll pass it along!
Allisa
ParticipantI see big hair from the 80’s was still in full force and effect!
Allisa
ParticipantAnd we’re off! So far so good – best of luck, Simon!
Allisa
Participantmine too!
Allisa
ParticipantAwww heck with it – this is probably easier. 160 kbps mp3s are here:
http://www.veramouse.com/images/music/Bruuuce/bh2007-0118CrossroadsMP3s/
right-click on each file and ‘save as’ to your computer. Enjoy!
Allisa
ParticipantI just uploaded a .flac torrent here:
https://bruuuce.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=738
I sometimes have firewall issues so hopefully ppl can connect to me. I can also do a torrent of mp3s if there’s an interest.
Allisa
ParticipantI have wavs that need a little editing and then conversion to mp3 that I can put up soon.
Allisa
ParticipantI’m very tempted…..
Allisa
ParticipantLooks like ‘Czar of Blabbery’ it is!
Allisa
ParticipantHi Bryan,
any idea how the dates with Ricky Skaggs are going to work? Will the Noisemakers be there, or will it be Ricky’s band? (or both? that would be one full stage!)
Allisa
ParticipantAll are available for download now…
Allisa
ParticipantI’d love to hear the 2006 Request of the Year, “The Way It Is with hands crossed” from the 7/15/06 Woodinville, WA show!!! (it was excluded from the official MunckMusic release
)
Allisa
Participant… or! sing the words to “Amazing Grace” to the tune from “Gilligan’s Island”. 😉
Allisa
Participantnot that I can hear – just the chords on the guitar (or maybe harmonica?)
