Bruce and the Noisemakers in Norfolk on June 9th!!!!
You beat me to it, but thanks for posting and great points! Great show all around, Bruce was truly in his element as always . . . SCKBSTD was indeed a popular theme of the night and he did mention will be performed this summer in Philadelphia, he isn’t at all happy with the name change . . . I think STRANGER is not a good name either! The highlights for me well of course The Way It Is- where he really put on quite a show and took us all on quite an amazing ride into the pure talents of his solo piano skills, Mandolin Rain in the Ricky Skaggs/BH treatment was stellar, 20/20 Vision/A Night on the Town was pretty powerful too, and as BH mentioned Soon Enough a song that has yet to be officially released and or recorded has become one of the newest and most popular songs by request and a great one to close with- won’t replace the Show Goes on for me, but Soon Enough is a pretty powerful song! Bruce was indeed glad to be back at the Ferguson (since 2007 with Ricky and 2005 Solo) and very excited to be less than 20 miles from home- time to rest it up for a few days and head back out on the Road!!! Great show Bruce!!!
Glad you are sharing the link! Have had the honor and the privilege- as well as permission from Bruce to feature his music mostly instrumental selections on numerous video essays that I do for the city! I have also used Talk of the Town and Stacked Mary Possum for the theme music for 2 vehicle shows called Talk of the Town and Out and About! All available on at the YouTube site for Newport News TV! Will be working on some more pieces in the coming months as the seasons change! Once again enjoy and what a joy to be able to capture the beauty of nature and set it to the best music around!

Nope, can only burn MP3 on a CD, the only way you could get it on a DVD would be to put video or something video related with the MP3 music and then burn it on to a DVD! Use Final Cut Pro or IMovie!

Melissa was the wonderful young lady who corresponded with me when she was able to line up my first meeting with Bruce backstage in Norfolk, VA at the Harrison Opera House in December of 1993! I still have the letter framed and am forever grateful for her professionalism, warm heart and generosity! She was awesome to work with over the years on a variety of projects . . .
I was fortunate enough to meet her in person in 2005/2006 in my current job at Newport News Television where I have used Bruce’s music in a number of my photo essays! It was only one meeting in person with her and she was a beautiful woman both on the inside and out- and so glad that I was able to meet her one on one to let her know face to face what a pleasure it was to work with her over the years and to thanks for all the work she had done!
Melissa, you can rest now for you are no longer suffering! I’m glad to know have known you and also glad that you made a difference and made a lot of people especially the fans of Bruce Hornsby a lot happier for going that extra mile to fulfill our dreams and our wishes over the years! May God Bless You now and forever!

It was great time all around, everyone got along great, well of course Sonny was in a room all by himself- if you watch the video again and see Sonny you can see my reflection in the glass at least my arms- I guess in Bruce’s Studio it helps to cushion the sound and help acoustically! But overall this was a lot of fun and Bruce was a hoot as usual! Like I said one of the highlights of my career and just one of the many things that Bruce has done and continues to do to help make my job so enjoyable and a thrill to do!! AP

What a great time in Hampton, VA!!! An extra year was well worth the wait!!! (At least for some- sorry for all those that came across the Pond last year to be greeted with rain,wind,etc.) Ricky, KT, Bruce and the Noisemakers were on fire! It was so good to see you Si and also a pleasure to meet you LIZ and Rich!! Hope you had a good time in Bruce’s backyard (only a few miles away from Williamsburg)!!! Bruce sure did gain so many new fans last night! Prairie Dog Town and Black Rats rock live!!!! Enjoy the new album (pre-release awesome) and can’t wait to see Leno on Thursday!!

The dates in your initial post are inaccurate, not sure if that is what the Daily Mess put in or not but the dates for this year’s Bay Days Event are Sept. 11-13! See Info Below! Just thought everyone would want to know so they don’t show up on the weekend before!

Thanks Si- Yeah, the City finally went the Streaming Video Route so we have a few things to iron out! Thanks for checking it out and yes this is the job I love to do . . . being able to mix Bruce in from time to time is indeed a cool perk to help expose others to his incredible music! I have done Spring, Fall and Winter using most of his instrumental pieces, but haven’t been able to share until now with the introduction of streaming video! Thanks for the site and it looks great as always!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hornsby Family! God truly blessed R.S. with some incredible talents and we were very blessed to be able to witness them, he will truly be missed! Thank you Si for devoting your site to his memory and sharing the songs that truly speak volumes of R.S’ talent!
