I personally don’t see what difference it matters who opens or closes or who does what set. I’m riding the bus again all the way from Texas to Biltmore..ain’t the happiest of rides, but to see Bruce play what ever he plays it worth it.
I saw him in 95 or 96 play a solo show with Bela and they shared the stage…was a fun night…they each played some of their songs…together, some solo. So I’m sure even now they will share the stage and play some apart. So I don’t think it will be a show to miss.
But hey to each their own…I’m looking forward to what ever the night holds!

Hey MVF I sent you an email…
Abigail and I are taking the bus to Biltmore this year….rental cars were just out of our budget. So we will need your assistance again this year….get back with me if you can…trying to make those Biltmore plans this week!!
We are excited….working on requests this week too..took a trip to the craft store for some goodies.

Sounds good so far. I plan on arriving sometime during the day on the 10th. Being it is the same hotel as last time and check in isn’t until after 3pm that gives me most of the day to get there..but we should be there by that afternoon. I’m hoping earlier, if I can stand to drive some more. I’m driving this year, but be taking plenty of breaks with little miss Abigail in tow.
I am going to book the same hotel we had last year for two nights…its the closest to the Biltmore and most reasonable for price…I was happy with that last year…hopefully that is ok with you. Booking for the 10th and 11th.
Other then that we are just getting our song requests together and Abigail has been practicing singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” in hopes of singing to Bruce…its so cute. She has taken a liking to this singing thing..she’s always doing it. Who knows maybe I have a little singer in the making.
Will keep in touch…and I’m getting anxious already!

Well…this chick is out of here for a couple of weeks…of to take Little Miss Abigail and Prince Junior to their Grandfathers in Michigan via train again this summer(“justa passing through”)..gotta love that song! ( Could be good trivia..how many songs has Bruce song that deal with trains…help me out here..I need to make a new Youtube video.) Shall return to the fun in a couple of weeks….keep me posted on the Biltmore happenings!!

Just keep in mind I won’t be doing alot…if any drinking of the Wine (Sauce as Bruce puts it)…because of little Princess in hand…but don’t mind if others partake! Hence why I have been designated Keeper of the Keys this year!

Looking forward to the fun!Does bringing you some DDD day download CD’s get me a copy of this? I’ll even bring the laptop so I can make the copy. Since I’m driving to Biltmore..it leaves me room for the computer and we can get online and brag at the hotel!!

Only been to one…but from my experience it was great. Wouldn’t have trading that night for nothing. Thanks to MVF had a great seat or standing/dancing area I should say. I am doing it again. Since MVF is going to be queen..I vote for myself as assistance to the queen and I shall be bringing along miss princess Abigail…that is if no one ojbects.

P.S. Its gotta be good after all I wouldn’t put up with riding a greyhound bus all the way from Texas..just for the heck of it. Can’t miss this show!! Its worth where ever you come from and how ever you can get there!!
Speaking of thoughts from a Road Scholar..
Since the Road scholars have so much experience and information, thought I might ask them for some opinions.
I was considering saving up funds for the upcoming Jam Cruise that happens in 2012…Jan 9-14th. Anyone ever went on one..worth the money? This the first time Bruce and the band ever been on one? Just the first time I’ve noticed one, but hey I’m not a road scholar.
Don’t know if I’m going to spend the funds yet or not..trying to see if its worth it.
Honestly its two of my favorite things…a cruise, which I’ve always wanted to take, and secondly a Bruce show…both at once..hard to decide whether I should or should not??

Bruce did change the words, did about a minute or so little song with his own words, had to do with a request he had on stage.
Great show last night…have some pictures to send to you Si as soon as I get caught up on some much needed sleep.
From where I was sitting, got some good piano work pictures!“Who Takes Care of Mom” was my request…actually worked on it with my kids, so it was written from them to Bruce to be a special request for me, even though they weren’t there. It was for my mom’s night out. My heart just melted when Bruce said he had to do a special request for a special mom.
So sweet.
That has to be my top concert memory of all now.Monica
My itunes says 323 songs…and yes that is my Bruce library…but that doesn’t include what is on my external hard drive. Not sure what the count is on that, because its not hooked up at the moment, so that makes my count go way up I’m sure. I have stuff hidden in folders everywhere so who knows what the exact count is,one day I will organize.
But hey thats a start…but I’m sure way lower then some of you. I just don’t have as much live stuff saved up as some people due to not having a way to download as well, but now that I have high speed….I’m going as fast as I can.
Ok so we have the praire dogs, but what about the Black Rats??? We can’t forget those can we…..

Thanks for the details AMP…makes it a great picture for those of us who can’t attend. I’m depending on you now to keep me posted. Wish I could go…but due to this tooth infection and doctors orders for no traveling….I can’t. So its up to you guys to paint the picture…sounds like I will miss a good one though. Wishing I wasn’t, but health has to come first.
Those who are going, have fun…and stay warm and get me some pictures and souviers!!!
I won’t be there anymore…a tooth infection takes priority you guys let me know all about the fun…will catch up this summer I promise!
