Bruce always has been a story teller. The song makes sense now and I’m sure he means nothing bad by it. Its just one of those things that happened and he wanted to share the story in a song as he always does.
Sadly we don’t have high speed or I would be downloading the Bass Hall show right now…we where there!!!
But we are going to purchase the CD!! Was a great show!!Well all I apperciate all the answers so far. What I am hopefully going to get accomplished is getting Bruce to sign the old 88-89 Scenes from the Southside Tour book when I go to see him at his gig in Lafeyette, Louisiana in Jan of 2008. I’ve been told you can send stuff to his assistant and she’ll have him sign it, but I’ve had it for so long and kept it in such good condition, having him sign it in person would make it much more special. So if anyone has tips on getting backstage I’d apperciate it. Thanks again for all the replies…nice to have other fans to share experiences with.

But I would like to see what others think.Sounds like fun! Only problem I’m in Texas and can’t afford a trip to Raleigh by that date! But I’ll make sure to watch for you all and will record it on my DirectTV DVR and if I ever figure out how to transfer from there to a DVD I’ll make copies for ya all. :I did phrase the initial question wrong at the time I wasn’t thinking correctly how to phrase it. After reading Si and Meagans posts I see how they have something in common with Bruce that would make it possible to meet him, but my new question would be how would that be possible for just an ordinary person that wouldn’t have those things in common?

Unfortunatley they are not airing in the Houston, TX area which I can’t figure out why.
