Even now, that rotating image speaks of a “2-CD…set”. Plus, I recall it talking of a “download” only in relation to “Mandolin Rain”, say, (meaning, only in relation to something extra, in addition to the main item being purchased back on sale day) and NOT directly in relation to the main $3.99 purchase.
I don’t deny that it’s a good deal if someone wanted the album as MP3s, but Bruce (& his team) really should have made clear what they were going to offer. I, for one, was very excited in the days leading up to the sale because I understood them to be making the “2-CD set” available for $3.99, so imagine my disappointment when they ended up saying “CD” to mean “MP3s”.
They should have known better. It’s just that simple.

Am I the only one (hope not) who thought that whole $3.99/Amazon deal for Bruce’s latest double-live album was promoted in a VERY misleading fashion, to put it mildly?
The information at Bruce’s site (the rotating graphic on the Home Page), for one thing, spoke then (and still speaks now, days after the deal ran its course) of a “2-CD/25-Track Live Set”.
If you read that, what would you think?
Well, I thought the one-day offer of $3.99 for the album would get me a 2-CD/25-Track album, and NOT some MP3s, which is what Amazon offered for that price, instead. I, of course, didn’t learn that until I visited Amazon’s page for the album on the day that the sale took place.
This felt like a bait-and-switch…did anyone else believe the $3.99 sale was actually for the CD, too, or was I the only one so “duped”?

Then, may I respectfully recommend that some kind of notice be placed on the Home Page as any visitor there would be understandbly curious why the most-recent post there was from back in May?
Even if it isn’t Si to do so, is there another Moderator/Webmaster/etc who could?
