Storm damage would go pretty much un-noticed as our garden is a building site at the moment – in fact it would probably tidy things up a bit.

yeah his lyrics are always pretty unique to him,- I find he uses alot of filling out words which sit strangely on english ears,-
like,-
“Maybe we would like him so” – in sneaking up on boo.
he’s also very fond of adjectives – “so curious, so secretly” – in the road not taken,- they dont really convey much extra to the tale,- but they do add a certain Hornsbiness to the song..
Of course then there’s a fair smattering of local landmarks mentioned,- I wonder what the total is of his whole catalogue…..?

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of hassle at the airports,- I was expecting major security – and aside from having to take our shoes off which I thought was more than a little paranoid,- it was all pretty reasonable.

well folks,-
we just went to the charlottesville concert (yes we made it- THANKS LIZZIE!!!).
We got to meet bruce backstage and guess what,- we forgot to get the darn t-shirts signed!!!!
We were too busy talking about cockneys and getting pictures taken we clean forgot – I wonder if we post them to him he’ll oblidge…? – anyway…
Good show,- mighty miffed it wasn’t the noisemakers, and all the great bits were bruce bits, but we met and saw him all the same and we will definately be back!
The GREEEEEAAAT news is bruce said he will probably be coming to the uk in 2009!!! – it’ll probably be a solo show, but we’ll definately be happy with that.

The weather forcast is indeed looking iffy,- but they do seem to indicate it’ll be *ok* on sunday,- so fingers crossed.
We’ll definately be up for some gold seats if anyone gets there before us.
