How can we put on our “little digital hats” when all we can think about is “the” Stacked Mary Possum!

Wait-A-Bit, JamaicaHere it is from the “horses mouth”! I was totally wrong! At least I admit it! 😆
From what I understand, BSF (Big Swing Face), there were two drummers, Bonny Bonaparte and Michael Baker. I knew it wasn’t Bonny, cause mi sen em befo. So…..I just assumed it was Michael Baker.
At least you know I can “eat crow” if I have to! 😆 Who knows…..You might like it! 😆
Here is the answer to your question:

Hey Bruce! Thanks for Tampa! It was really great! Some of us in the south needed a Noisemakers fix. Who was the drummer?Bruce’s Reply:
The drummer was Moyes Lucas, our fabulous “sub” drummer who is nice enough to play with us when Sonny is busy with Bette Midler gigs.David Day
ParticipantWow! Thanks Si!
You guys need to “check in” and check this out!
That’s my story and I’m stickin to it! 😆

ParticipantThe first time I saw RS was at Biltmore and I thought…..What in the ____was this kid doing with Bruce & the Noisemakers. Little did I know at the time he was Bobby’s son.
Thru the years he “developed” from someone that Bruce “allowed” to play with, to one that could give Doug a challege when given the chance.
RS reminded me of Bruce himself!
Bobby told me thru some e-mails that Bruce was also a “tag along” with Bobby Hornsby and The High Octance Kids. If you do a little “diggin”, you can find some great pics with Bruce as the organ player with Bobby and “The High Octance Kids”.
After I realized how Bobby let his kid brother Bruce “tag along” with the “High Octane Kids”, it made me realize that Bruce, remembering his roots, could “See The Same Way” with RS.
Our prayers are with all the Hornsby family.

The question that keeps coming to mind…..Aren’t you getting too old for this? And then the resounding answer…..You are getting too old for this! 😆 But, something inside keeps saying…..Why not do it?
And the answer…..You can do it!
I guess the answer lies in the answer itself! I am probably getting to old for this, but I can do it!

ParticipantWell (deep subject 😆 ), the oil is changed, the tires rotated, my dawg at the kennel and I know it’s almost time for departure. All systems are go!
Eight hour drive to Tampa! You would not believe whom I’m picking up along the way!
I would have never thought it would have ever happened! A Bruuuce show, a DAWG game and someone very special from this forum all in one road trip!
But, for whatever reason, all the above have fallen into place!
My radar shows no tropical storms or hurricanes on the horizon. All wired up and probably won’t get any sleep tonight. Can’t wait until tomorrow!
At the end of the day when the sun is setting and the cows are coming home. There is no place I would rather be then…..

ParticipantWOW! We may need to amend the rules for Road Scholar of the Year or Road Warrior of the Year for you guys!
Tampa is on the west coast of Florida not in Georgia. Your cheapest flights would be thru Atlanta, GA or Miami, FL with a connection to Tampa.
Hardrock Cafe is on the northeast side of Tampa not too far from the airport going towards Orlando, FL. It right near Bush Gardens, something you should check out if you can! Also, it is about an hour from Disney World and Epcot! You need to plan on staying another week if you can!
You are also right by the Gulf of Mexico, but will be cool that time of year.
At the Hardrock, the shows are in the ballroom and it’s general admission. You should get there early if you can.
For a good map, go to brucehornsby.com, click on the show and click on the map.
You could make this Lauras’s best vacation ever.If you happen not to be doing anything on January 1, the Georgia DAWGS are playing (American football) the mighty Michigan State Spartans in Orlando at the Capital One Bowl. Go DAWGS!
