…..I did get the ‘word’ today that gates don’t open till 6:30 and……Iris will be handling a special concession for us!!! Food and unopened drinks are allowed! Coolers? Not a problem at all, but beer and wine must be purchased at the venue. Unfortunately, no grills are allowed! ‘Dad gum it’! Was goin’ to put on the ‘rasta’ and jerk for all!
We must have another meet-up before our ‘picnic meet-up’! Details to follow on that! But, for this occasion, we must have the first ever two meet-ups!!! You will have the opportunity, the first time ever, to to either choose meet-up ‘A’, meet-up ‘B’ or meet-up ‘A’ and ‘B’!!!! I’m sure all this is too confusing for MVF, but…..Don’t touch that dial! One that is ‘adult friendly’ and one that is ‘child friendly’! From my understanding, gates don’t open till 6:00, soo we can do both!!! An adult meet-up and then picnic in the park! On the other hand….MVF did bring up the picnic idea early on! That would be ‘kid friendly’! I was also trying for a ‘tailgate’, but that is not allowed also! Was going to grill some shrimp, steaks, burgers, brats for all, but the ‘management’ said ‘no’! Maybe I’ll still try that, but someone must be responsible for bailing me out of jail!

Iris at the venue will not be open that evening. I tried and was very close to having a private party there! My second choice near the venue, since I use to live there, was…..An establishment that would have suited us very well and sorta describes some of us very well! But….The ‘Barking Cow Pub’ has just recently closed. I know of three other establishments near the venue that would suit us well, but maybe a good ole fashion picnic? Food is allowed, unopened sodas and water are allowed, but beer and wine must be purchased there. There are plenty of ‘green spaces’, in the ‘pastures of plenty’, for that to happen! So…..some ‘feed back’ is called to order! ‘Pastures of Plenty’ or ‘Night on the Town’??? ‘Barking cows’ must respond!!! If Bruce plays with a ‘back-up band’, Bruce normally only plays for maybe 90 minutes max. If Bruce is playing with NM’s only, you will normally get three hours of solid Bruce and NM’s only! Bruce will play till he gets ‘kicked off’ by the ‘powers that be’! OP will be Bruce and NM’s only! Get the picture?

Hey Heath! Great question! Yes and yes!
The Orange Peel is a ‘music hall’ while Botanical Gardens is a beautiful outdoor venue. The OP will be more of a party atmosphere with Noisemakers only. ATL will be more of a ‘social’ atmosphere while OP anything goes. ATL you sit on the lawn, while OP you can dance. ATL will be a short set while OP will probably go on and on…..

MVF! You can sleep well at night knowing…..It was not you at all! I will ‘fess up’! It was me, but it was not totally all my fault. Seems there was some sarcasm that popped up and at that time, I felt the call to take a stand for some friends. Just a rhetorical debate between two ‘hard headed’ males! Both of which, probably thinks they are intelligent, but are dum in many ways. Some of which was meant to be funny in nature, but probably got carried away a little too much, the board not knowing the full dynamics of what had happened ‘behind the scene’. Si did the right thing! I am ‘pointing the finger’ at me! I take full responsibility for my actions! Please understand that…..At that time, felt the call to be a ‘defender of the flag’! Peace!
