Is this a reference to your blowing your kudos in the stock market, David?[/quote:acaf6]

    That’s funny! 😆

You said the first go round was just for fun and I should “play with my kudos”. So I took your advice! 😆

On the other hand, my kudos economic report was right on target. Wasn’t it? :D

    Spirit Trail

Jackie that is brilliant! Spirit Trail is probably the CD I listen to the most and that has never occured to me. I tend to think about King of the Hill, Great Divide, Preacher in the Ring, Sunflower Cat & Funhouse. The songs you mention show the sensitive side of Bruce. Maybe Bruce was going through a melancholy phase when he was writing those songs.

It would be interesting to see chronologically when Bruce wrote the songs for Spirit Trail to see if he wrote all the songs you mentioned together. That would be from one extreme to the other.

What a great CD! Thanks for pointing that out to us! ❗ Interesting! ❗

    Summer Tour!

Looks like Holland, MI, is May 5th, (solo show) and Ft. Collins, CO, (noisemakers!) is August 18, not July 18.

I was hoping for Bitlmore on August 18! ❗ 😥

Does that make you a bear or a bull, David?!

Or are those just British terms on the Stock Market? 😳

No, they are not just British terms.

The following is my most recent kudos economic report:

Not everyone in the Bruce Nation knows at this time what kudos are or how valuable they are. Therefore, the supply for kudos at this time exceeds demand. Once the Bruce Nation realizes how valuable a kudo is, then demand will increase. As demand increases, supply will decrease. Then there are the “Bookmakers” which are actually designed by nature to absorb kudos and reduce supply. As demand increases and supply is reduced or absorbed, kudos will become more valuable.

    The bottom line……..

I’m short-term bearish on kudos, but long term bullish!

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! ❗ :)

PS I just earned another valuable kudo by writing this. Maybe I should go into the business of giving “kudo advice”! ❗ 😆

    Kudos!

I don’t understand it! The stock market is going up, but the kudos stock exchange is going down. Maybe I should buy the stock market and sell the kudos stock exchange. Or, maybe I should just sell the kudos stock exchange. In market terms, that would mean I’m short kudos and have a naked postion. Short & naked kudos. ❗ 😳 I don’t know if I like the sounds of that! ❗ 😆

The moral of the story is……….the kudos stock exchange can go up and the kudos stock exchange can go down. You can make kudos either way! ❗

I remember that! I thought that was Carey all along, but I didn’t know for sure. I remember asking her in Knoxville where she was from. When Carey told us a few posts ago she was from Roanoke, I was able to connect the dots.

Hopefully, we can all get together again at a meetup before a show this summer. It would be my pleasure to buy Carey dinner and drinks for everyone! :D

I think all the votes are in! ❗ The Road Scholar of the Year Award for 2006! ❗

The Road Scholar of the Year qualifies you to be highly esteemed by all road scholars, to explore remote places trying to find unfounded shortcuts not shown on mapquest, to report on assorted journeys, shows, songlists and thoughts to other road scholars, to help organize meetups near venues, to practice two hand independence on the dash while driving and be looked upon as a true fan by the Bruce Nation.

The 2006 Road Scholar Award goes to………….

    From Roaknoke, VA, ………Careyon! ❗

Carey has been to 17 shows in 2006, traveled over 6000 miles to shows
that have been in in 14 states! ❗

Way to go Carey! ❗ That’s outstanding! ❗

At one of the meetups in 2007, you will be awarded dinner & drinks by yours truely, the original Road Scholar. (I’ll be easy to spot! I’ll be the only good looking guy there! 😆 )

    Congratulations Carey! ❗
