Lake Lanier, GAI run four or five times a week and generally start in the morning while it is still dark. As I was running across the hills this morning I experienced another beautiful sunrise. There were deer and wild turkey everywhere. A mist hung over the pastures below the splendid fall colors of the trees.
As the sun began to rise, it hit me again. Look Out Any Window!
The song starts out slow and soft as if the sun is just waking up. Then it builds as if the sun is starting to rise. The song then hits full tempo and you have a full sun smiling down on you.
No, I wasn’t on any drugs, but maybe I should have been to help dull the pain of running. 😆

That’s great! I’ve been playing guitar since I was eight. Maybe we should get together for a duet!
Check out Collective Soul’s DVD “Home”. They play with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. It’s outstanding! Ed Rolland (guitar/singer) plays a duet with a cellist. It’s great!

Thanks for asking, but mom is not doing so well. She made it again this time and may get out of the hospital today. She will be bed ridden and have two nurses come each day. Her quality of life is so poor, it would be better if she went home. I’ve had my hands full commuting each day to Atlanta and trying to run a business. My older brother (I’m better looking than him! 😆 ) and I have been taking shifts each day. Will continue to take shifts until she gets settled back at home.
I hope you guys have a wonderful time in Lousiville!

I had just put on Scenes from the Southside and right when Look Out Any Window came on, the most beautiful sunrise happend across the hills of north Georgia. All the beautiful fall colors and all the pinks and lavenders of sunrise. I couldn’t help but think what a great sunrise song!
I know you think I’ve probably fallen off my rocker, but check it out! Does Look Out Any Window remind you of a sunrise? Let me know what you think!

On a lighter note, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it. We had to put my mother back in the hospital and it’s not good. Can’t make any plans at the moment. The way it is going right now, I don’t think I’ll even be able to make the game. I was looking forward to having you come pick me up and be the bus driver, but can’t commit at the present. Maybe things will change for the better next week.
My best shot right now is Spartanburg. Will let you know if things change.
