ParticipantWhile not really a 2015 recording, seems like this would be a good place to mention that the Exhibit Records 180g release of The Way It Is finally came out this week, mine just shipped today from Amazon Canada.
This was mastered by the very well-respected Kevin Gray from Cohearent Audio (http://www.cohearent.com/meet-kevin-gray/) and Bruce’s rep at RLM confirmed Kevin got to work from the original stereo analogue master tape for this release. It’s being pressed at RTI.
The original 120g domestic pressing is very good in its own right, but I’m looking forward to seeing what magic Kevin was able to coax from the original analogue master for this release. It’s currently US$24 on Amazon US if any vinyl fans are looking.

ParticipantSuper excited to see Bruce solo tonight, a great week of music as last Wednesday I was up in Toronto to see Peter Gabriel on the “So 25th Anniversary” (Back to Front) tour from the 10th row. Two great Wednesday nights of music in succession.

Pulled 2nd row first two seats on the left aisle this morning 18 minutes into the pre-sale. Could have pulled first row for sure if I hadn’t forgotten about it until 10:18am!

ParticipantI enjoyed the 2006 solo show more than I did the NM show, very glad to see another couple solo dates including one only 1h drive away in Buffalo.

ParticipantI’ve been to several shows in Buffalo, but never to the harbor.
The tickets say 5pm…but can anyone say what time Bruce usually takes the stage? I would guess from around 8-11pm sounds about right eh?

Participantajrosent wrote:Dobyblue – is exactly what is wrong with bruce shows….bruce is the man, his music is rocking and he jams it out even during solo shows. If there were more people like that chick dancing it would put bruce shows on the true jam scene with the whole crowd rocking and dancingIf it was not in an auditorium but rather in a place like the Opera House, where there is no seating in front of the stage, just like where I saw Victor Wooten and Soul Circus in October, then of course it would be great and I’d be dancing too, but I also appreciate the opportunity to see a great artist like Bruce solo in a seated venue where I can just enjoy watching the man play incredible music.
I’m what’s wrong with bruce shows? Get your hand off it pal.Dave B. – excellent post.

ParticipantBecause it’s not a Nine Inch Nails show it’s a seated show.
I didn’t care when she was over by the wall, but if I had been over there it would have distracted me.
When she started dancing right in front of the stage she was in my line of sight and it was distracting.
It’s a piano performance, if you don’t know how to behave you shouldn’t be there. Just like a Bela Fleck & The Flecktones show.dobyblue
ParticipantYeah she came bouncing back down during Bruce’s performance of Wild Horses.
She was dancing like Mick Jagger too which made it a little bit funny, as I shouted out “WHo let the happy hands club out?”
Fortunately she was led off by security quite quickly. People like that are so inconsiderate of the vibe of the gig.
Great performance though – blown away by so many songs. Was hoping for The Show Goes On, but really enjoyed the entire night.dobyblue
ParticipantAlright! I got 6th row center section seats 1 and 2 on the aisle.
Can’t wait, just wanted to share that I’m totally excited for my first Hornsby show.

ParticipantWell wouldn’t you know, the nice lady at the UB box office just gave me the password.
Yay!! I hope there’s some sweet seats available. -
