ParticipantJust wanna say the Daily Doses have been tremendous so far. I’m getting a bunch of new live stuff that I’ve never heard played live before – These Arms of Mine, Pastures of Plenty. Although I previously had one live recording of Swing Street, I was ecstatic to see that posted as well. Songs I wish Bruce played more often today. Keep ’em coming Si!

Participantsi_twining, post: 9134 wrote:There’s an interesting project! I’ll sit down at some point soon and list what I can think of. Off the top of my head:Madman Across the Water – Two Rooms (Elton John tribute)
King Harvest – Endless Highway (The Band tribute)
The Show Goes On/Set Me in Motion – Backdraft soundtrack
Red Hook summer soundtrack
World’s Greatest Dad soundtrack
20/20 Visino – Charlie Haden soundtrack
White-Wheeled Limousine – Trios (Rob Wasserman)
Don’t Blame It On Me – Goin’ Home (Fats Domino tribute)… what else?
Wow, I can’t believe this! King Harvest is one of my favorite songs by The Band. Just the other day I said I’d love to hear Bruce & the NM bring that into the mix and play it live in some shows. I had no idea they did that tribute song, just bought it and wow, awesome. Such a cool moment!

ParticipantThat would be from the Portland, OR show at the Oregon Zoo from 2011. It’s an incredible version.
Here it is:

ParticipantLooks great Si!

ParticipantHere is Resting Place from the concert DVD Three Nights On The The Town played at the Blue Note in 2004. Sorry for the delay, I experienced some technical difficulties with some of my equipment, but I’m up and working again! I hope you all like this, and there are a bunch more on the way!

DDI appreciate it David!
Next up:
And I always cross to the other side
But I go back every time
Maybe one day we’ll come together…
…….Also, might have Resting Place in the works for you!

ParticipantNot sure if this would be relevant, but maybe a question asking, “Have you heard “_____” performed live?”
Could be cool to get some data on how many people have heard a particular song live, and has Bruce played this song frequently live.
EDIT: Whoops! Just realized my question doesn’t really make sense when talking about an album. Well, I’ll keep thinking.

ParticipantGuinnessGoon, post: 9097 wrote:Yeah that was pretty cool and great production as well. You should try Drums from a Grateful Dead show…mix it up with the Rhythm Devils…just kidding man, but yeah that was pretty neat.
Maybe a Spider Fingers with Tempus Fugit in it as that should be a blast to try.
Good luck!
Good suggestion with Spider Fingers. I’ll see what I can do.
si_twining, post: 9098 wrote:I ended up combining the two – here you are! I will be pleased to update it when necessary…Thanks so much Si!

ParticipantThank so much Si! Glad you liked it and I have a lot more on the way.

ParticipantFirst up is Cruise Control, from The Murat in Indianapolis! I hope you all like it. (If you have good quality headphones, it’s best to watch/listen using them).
Also as a shameless plug, I won’t just be doing Noisemakers covers. I’ll be doing a bunch from Sting, to Steely Dan, to even maybe some top-40 stuff every once in a while. I already have a Sting cover up so you can check that out too. So if you wan’t, subscribe to my channel to stay up to date!
JF1
ParticipantVery much deserved by both! Doug with his versatility and Bobby with that big fat tone – both Noisemakers staples. Congrats!
JF1
ParticipantGood requests David! And thanks for the help Si!
JF1
ParticipantOf course!

Participanttreah, post: 8977 wrote:Wow! A plethora of shows-just when I’d given up my weekly check of the livedownloads site.I’ll be getting them on the “installment plan”-probably one concert every 1-2 weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations on which one I should buy first?
Jackie
I’m doing the same. The first I bought was Woodinville, WA.
I bought it solely for Mirror On The Wall because there was a recording of it on youtube and it was awesome and I wanted the soundboard version. IMO Mirror On The Wall is sooo much better played with the whole band as opposed to the dulcimer version like Bruce had been doing for the last several years.
Go Back To Your Woods might be the best I’ve here them play it. Sonny adds in some nice fills and tom work during this which really kicks it up a notch.
Dirty Ground is great, they play it really well here.
And then of course your final 3 tracks – Jacob’s, Way It Is, and WWL are all awesome as always.

ParticipantI haven’t listened to most of the tracks yet, but White Wheeled Limousine is awesome. Great rendition.
JF1
ParticipantYea I hear you. I have probably like 20 songs on my “Where the **** have they gone” list.
Nice to see a song like Hot House Ball get played a couple of times on this tour. I can think of many songs I’d rather hear, but that’s the kind stuff Bruce needs to be mixing in.
As you said, getting to see 2 shows in Bruce country in Virginia was unreal and so glad I got to cross that off the bucket list.

ParticipantGreat review, thanks for posting!
JF1
ParticipantThat’s awesome, what songs did you hear during the sound check?

ParticipantHDbahn, post: 8909 wrote:Nice version at Raleigh soundcheck, lots of new, pretty sckbstd stuff here and Wilmington, where they also did King Of The Hill while only a half dozen locals were within earshot. Merch girl in Wilmington also had a pet prairie dog named Chip, but he died. How were you able to hear the soundcheck?

ParticipantThanks for posting all these set-lists! I really wish Bruce would pull from the library more. Disappointing to see that he’s been mostly repeating a lot of songs. There are dozens of awesome songs that Bruce never touches. None the less, still seems like it was a great show.
JF1
ParticipantOk good to know. Do you think row B is too close in the front orchestra? I can go row B or row N. Thanks!
JF1
ParticipantYea these dates are not so hot for me either. I was told there will be 3-4 more shows added to the tour, so fingers crossed!
