Great show, with tons of impressive piano and vocal work. The shear difficulty of what Bruce was doing was far and away the highest among all of the shows I’ve attended (though all others have been with the full band). Simply mesmerizing.

One negative: I found the crowd in Boone to be a bit sedate. Most of the Bruce fans seemed to be confined to the edges of the auditorium, with mainly season ticket holders to the App State summer series in the meat of the orchestra section. By and large, the folks around us were really old and sat on their hands. The lack of audience response to some of Bruce’s soloing was perplexing to me.

FYI the teaser was “Iron Man”, rather than “We Will Rock You”.
