And, boy howdy, I am feeling ya! My seventh and eighth road trips and BRH shows will be Richmond and Annapolis next week-end. It’s been a very good year, especially with the gifts of the boxed set, ‘I’m-a tellin’ ya.’

BRH has a rather liberal taping/recording policy which is also detailed on Si’s ‘Bruuuce.com. Check FAQ tab on the banner.Take a look, for your own edification. Many FoB [Fans of Bruce] have been following and recording and yes, even sharing, for years. I, unfortunately, am not that talented. I have purchased my cds from either brick and mortar stores or online. Recently, I have acquired quite a collection of mighty-damn-tasty Bruce, Live, thanks to BRH’s hand-picked concerts available on MunckMusic and they are excellent!!! There isn’t a bad one and I just love hearing the ‘star and king’ talk with the people.

Wish we both won the lottery so we could follow, watch and learn!!!

Amen to that!!! However, I must say Bruce in Cleveland was almost as good as Bruce in Louisville…two sets, lots of stage banter, especially when the people identified ‘ Giant Steps’ [Coltrane] when BRH asked us to ‘Name That Tune.’ He was more than pleased when the ‘jazz aficionados’ got ‘Bouncing With Bud’ a little later on another pop quiz. BRH spewed great jazz and classical riffs all evening….Mighty damn tasty stuff!!!

BIBs, SIBs and FOBs [Fans of Bruuuce] in general…

It’s official… the tickets are bought, reservations have been made, the car has been serviced, routes have been mapped, the stitches removed… We will be traveling soon!!

David, do put your $$$ on Ms. VA, Former. Lola has not bowled since she stopped drinking bourbon [ a story for another time ].

So, Victor, MoMoMolo and Mrs., bowl amongst yourselves. However, Lola will VOLunteer to be, a-hem, the ball-handler, and possibly, the serving wench. Let the games begin!!!

Might there be any possibility of any FOB [Fan of Bruuuce] recording this much anticipated exchange—Bruce on Howard’s show– and posting it for the rest of us without Sirius. I stayed at work until 8pm to catch Bruce on NPR’s “Talk of the Nation” and they threw in a bonus, the Solo Bruce Concert @ The Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, April, 2006. It would be mighty entertaining to hear Bruce and Howard’s repartee, a veritable, verbal sparring match, to be sure.

You don’t know me from a can of paint, but if anyone were capable of performing this feat for the people, for the FOB [Fans of Bruuuuce], it would be you, my BIB [Brother-in-Bruuuce].

I remember hearing or reading about that and BRH said “D.E.” was distributive education– which is vocational education… at least in Pennsylvania. It’s lodged in my memory because that is my field.

Oh, I didn’t read far enough… someone asked Bruce to qualify?? Cool! I wish he’d respond to his guestbook with just a little more regularity…He reads the stuff, doesn’t he?
