Did you ever find my pictures from the “Night on the Town” concert???? I cannot find my copies, so…….. If you’re not using them or posting them, can I have them back????As I posted earlier, I’ll try to see what’s shaking for the G’boro show. Although you have already gotten WAY more info than I could have.

When I donate kudos, I try to leave a message, but it won’t let me send the message, just the kudos. Sometimes I don’t mind sending ‘anonymous’ kudos, but sometimes I really do want to leave a wry and sarcastic note. 😉Have I found a kindred soul? ‘Mandolinrange’ likes the same obscure lyrics from”The Long Race” that I do. 😆
By the way, LOVE your “handle”. Did you ever get a chance to see the Range in concert?????
I saw Bruce and the Range at William & Mary Hall way back when Night on the Town first came out. At the end of “Defenders” Molo sat on the edge of the drum platform and picked out a few bars of “Oh Say Can You See” on the guitar. Brought the house down.
FYI– on the 8/13/06 Charlotte show, at the very beginning when Bruce is going over some request notes, I’M the Teresa that wants to dance on stage 😉
Also, later on, I’m the one who yells out “The Way It Is” and “Freebird”, which resulted in Bruce playing several lines of “TWIS” to the tune of “Freebird”.
AND, after the concert, I got him to sign my Bruce Teddy Bear. I had all the other Noisemakers sign it at the Asheville concert. Gee…..wonder what THAT would go for on eBay????? NOT!
The only thing that has ever crossed my record player (yes, I still own one that works), cassette player or CD player has been Bruce, and always WILL BE Bruce (okay, I confess, in the month of December, I throw in a little of the Chicago Christmas album, but that’s only until Bruce puts out one). 😆
But Si, baby, I’ve always been told its not how many kudos you have, its all in the way you use them, hmm??
Maybe its just cuz I’m a Carolina Girl, but has anybody listened to Ben Folds’ stuff? His piano is good, but he’s young and new at it. Fancy will come with age. His lyrics are haunting one minute, biting the next. I haven’t had a chance to see him in person yet (I don’t think they even LET old people like me into some of those Franklin Street bars in Chapel Hill) but I’ve seen some bootleg video and have a couple of CDs. My fantasy concert could be Bruce, Ben, Ole’ Jerry Lee Lewis, and hey, maybe even Floyd Kramer thrown in for nostalgia. I’ve always been a sucker for a man whose got nimble fingers . . . . . 😉

Will Bruce be doing anything for the Jamestowne 400th Anniversary in May???? I heard Colin Campbell (pres. of Colonial W’burg) say about a year ago that Bruce would be “spearheading the music scene” for the celebration, but when I asked Mama Hornsby about it last summer (I’m still waiting for SOMEONE to ask me to tell THAT story) at The Blue Talon, she said she hadn’t heard a word about it yet. I’ll be there, if nothing else but to meet the Queen and see the Magna Carta.
