I have Bruce’s piano sheet music Anthology and it also includes the chords for guitar. As a novice guitar player It’s definitely way over my head!

That JV is a very smart man. Denver sounds like Louisville in some ways, minus the Rocky Mountains and spur of the moment blizzards. 😆 It snows only once or twice a year here, which I can tolerate. I just don’t like sub 60 degree weather, which is soon to set in here for the next 4 months. Karen could tell you, it makes me grumpy. 👿 I’ll pass along your well wishes to her and we’ll keep that rain check in mind.

Mary, that’s a very sweet offer indeed. It would be a blast to hang out with you guys again, but the last thing I want to see right now is snow, not to mention two feet of it! I just do not handle cold weather very well. I’m trying to work out a trip to *Indy on the 19th, but my work schedule is crazy right now. That also happens to be her birthday, so we’ll see. Ugh, snow. Just the thought of it depresses me. 🙄

*edit: I meant to say St. Louis. Bruce just played Indy. Still haven’t heard any review or setlist from the Indy show. Anyone? Bueller?
Perhaps you’re right, T. Two hours may well be the norm for this tour. I guess only Bruce could answer the question of why that would be. Still, I’d rather have 2 hours of Bruce than not to have any Bruce at all. The setlists still look fresh and varied, so I know Bruce is giving it his best shot every night. I’d be happy to see one more show this tour but it doesn’t look like that will be possible.

Sounds like a ripping good show! Have always loved Place Under the Sun. Bruce knows just how to get the audience’s attention and bring them into the groove with him and the band.My guess about the length of the show is that it probably is strictly enforced by the casino. 2 hours is actually a generous allotment compared to most casinoes. Usually it’s 90 minutes and back to the slots with ya!
For the record, Bruce’s show at the Biltmore clocked in at just under 3 hours, so I know if Bruce has his way, he’ll put on a 3 hour show. Again, the venue typically will call the shot here.

They played a full two hours (8:30 – 10:30), but I thought the same thing. My buddy who was sending the list said some tunes were strecthed even more than usual and that there was alot of banter. Hope the tapes show up, really want to hear the Look Out>Tumbling Dice.[/quote]

2 hours is still brief when it comes to Bruce, but I’m sure it was a great show. I’m curious about that Look out>Tumbling as well. :ugeek:Looks like a brief setlist, even with 2 songs omitted. Was there a time restriction in place by the venue? Compare the set to others this tour and you’ll see what I mean. Otherwise, a great looking set. Thanks for the posting, T!

Wow! Thanks for the link to that one, Si! I’m not sure what made me laugh harder, the writer’s resentment of Bruce because he “blamed Reagan” for the poverty of the ’80s with “The Way It Is” or that they wanted me to pay $5 to read the rest of the article. 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

Love watching this video! The guys all seem to have a blast playing this song. I didn’t know how I would feel about seeing Bruce playing dulcimer on stage. I thought it would be like when I saw Billy Joel and he opened the show center stage playing guitar and I thought, “what the heck, isn’t this the “Piano Man”? But Bruce, in all his coolness, makes the dulcimer work for him and is still able to direct the band with his back turned to them.
For the record, I’ve loved this song from day one and seeing the live video only makes it that much more enjoyable for me. The crunchy guitar riff by Doug reminds me of an homage to ’80s rock (“I Love Rock and Roll” comes to mind).
That’s all for now. I have to go watch the video again.

Sweet! Mrs. Molo3’s request at Biltmore for “Kuntrie Dokter” made it to collage #19. Looking forward to St. Louis (her b-day) and possibly more shows if Bruce & Co. stay on I-64E
