ParticipantSometime we need to get a group together in W’burg so I can lead my infamous “Hornsby Tour of Williamsburg and Environs”. Highlights include the “Valley Road”, the “Midway” from “Night on the Town”, sites of several liner notes pictures, especially from “Scenes From the Southside”, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel (scene of the pic from “On the Western Skyline”), Lake Matoaka (site of the “Special Night”, and possibly the verse from “Gonna be Some Changes Made”), the office where Bruce’s mom works, etc. For an extra buck, I’ll even throw in my “Ghosts of Williamsburg” tour.

ParticipantDid we meet in Asheville? Hope so!
If you want to meet Bruce @ da’ Biltmo’, either show up for the sound check ahead of time, OR send an email to his people asking for a backstage pass OR make nice with the security guards, and sometimes they will sneak you backstage. All three have worked for me in the past, at least until my background check came through…..

ParticipantAnd some samiches, too.

ParticipantUnfortunately, all but J.V, will have to worry about the “flocked hair” that the original G.I.Joes used to have. In fact, maybe Bruce could have “almost” real hair, that is designed to fall out at intervals. (tee hee).
BTW: Looky, looky – This is my 200th post!! I is now an edumacated Road Scholar!!! 😮

I’m just glad I’m not the only one who soars into the clouds and lets the rest of the world fade away when I hear a Bruce song. I do that when I go grocery shopping and hear a song playing. I start singing and people look at me weird…but who cares, at least I’m having fun!!
Just glad you didn’t burn down the house. Can always get more bacon!!! Can’t get another MVF!!!
Monica
Oh, now you’ve opened the flood gates. All those who breathed a sigh of relief knowing there will only be ONE MVF, raise your hand (just one hand, Dreadlock Dave). 😈
Hey, I hope SOMEbody else heard Bruce this morning. If no one else heard it, that must mean…
… I’ve started listening to the voices in my head again, and this time, it’s Bruce!!!! 😮 😮 😮BTW, Monica….
What do you mean, it sounds like an MVF thing??? Just because I burn the bacon or lock my keys in the car at the Biltmore after The Concert doesn’t necessarily mean anything……does it?Jackie
Yes, it was homemade hashbrowns, and they sorta made up for the burned bacon. Having been unemployed for 10 months now, I have time to actually COOK everyday. Dusted off the recipe box, and started cooking at least once a day. Sorta have to, “cause we ain’t even got a dollar for the “Value Meal” list.March 26, 2010 at 1:17 pm in reply to: The scoop on the new Bruuuce.com toy – your help wanted! #31913MVF
ParticipantWhat’s an MP3??
Question: I, too would like to know what in the world “Candy Mountain Run” was based on.
Question: Bruce, will you be anywhere near home about the middle of the summer?? Monica is driving (21 hours!) to Williamsburg with the kids, and she’s going to pick me up to go along. We would love to treat you to lunch (your choice) while we’re there. Send a PM.
Rest assured, there will be more questions forthcoming.

ParticipantBless you, my children. Let me get out my calculator….mmmmm…….yes……uuuuuhhhh……. Yep still comes up to two friends. I guess they’ll just have to work harder.
Went on a second interview today. They asked what my salary requirements were. I said, yes, I would like to have one. (tee-hee) I took the highest one stated in the job listing, and my salary at my old job, and met in the middle. Still waiting for call back.
Yes, David, this post DOES have something to do with Bruce. During my two interviews, I heard THREE Bruce songs!!! By the original artist!!!! This will be a GREAT place to work.
What’s this Guys vs Girls thing? Which side am I on??

ParticipantWell, well, well, take a little vacation, leave town for a few days, and just look what happens.

Why were the three wise men wearing fire hats??

Yes, good Lord, just LOOK how I turned out. Forty-eight years old, can’t find a job (I’m now down to applying at the burger joints), has to take a handful of meds just to get out of bed, and has to “log on”

I am green with envy. Bay Days was SOOOO long ago.

ParticipantOkay, so a couple of you admit to “stalking” the Board.
Where the h*ll is Dreadlock Dave?? I was in his (red)neck of the woods week before last. Was tempting to just show up unannounced. I really wanted to check out that infamous back porch.
