Hey guys
PHENOMENAL show. I was 6th row right on Bruce side on the aisle. It was great.
I recorded the show and it came out really really good. I didn’t know if the no taping policy was still in effect, so I won’t post it anywhere. But if he allows recording again let me know and I’ll try to get it out there.
Yes friday. What happens with late night shows for some reason is they tape both Monday’s and Friday’s show on Monday. They probably decided to put the monday show on friday. Happens all the time.

So Si do we know just how many people visited the site during daily dose day? Is there a way to count the IP addresses that have visited? I think that would be so cool if it was possible to know that!

I doubt they will let him do two songs….They rarely do that on late night anymore….in fact the only time I ever saw that was when U2 took over Conan and they gave them the whole show, that was sweet….
I’m sure he will do superfreak, that’d be nuts, I still have yet to hear the album, im not really a bluegrass fan….

having crossroads transferred onto audio would be phenomenal…I almost cried during the mandolin rain version bruce did….stunning.

I really hope the downloads are available before I leave for England on Saturday….It would be great to just sit back and escape into a Bruce show for a couple hours….

So does anyone think that this year we’ll get some shows in New England with the full band? I’m dying to see a full band show again, I’ve only seen it once two years ago…..BRUUUUUCE COME ON! haha

I’ve been a pianist for about 16 years now…Currently studying music in college! Independence of the hands is something very special quality to have. I can do a little of it but it has taken some serious time to master….You basically start with your left hand, which is your “band”….You pick a chord cadence or structure and keep playing that over and over until your sick of it and it’s in your brain imprinted….
Then, in the key that your chords are in for the left hand, take one or two notes and dabble on just those two notes with your right hand over and over so u start with simple note phrases on top of what your doing on the left hand….After working on that for weeks you’ll begin to free your mind while you play it….
It takes a lot of practice to achieve but it’s worth it….
As for ostinato…It’s just another way of telling you how to play something, like adagio, rubato, allegro, etc….
