Look for a new feature coming soon, and I’ll post the results during the 20 Days of Bruce! :headphone::headphone::headphone:

Keymaster@A.J. – if there’s a pattern with this voting, I think it’s towards those songs in current or recent rotation at the concerts. Old Playground dones’t get much of an airing, although I agree that it translates fantastically live. I loved to hear Molo on it, and the thought of Sonny giving his take on it has me drooling.
Maybe one to consider for this dream setlist you’re asking me to put together – an idea which I’m developing somewhat for the 20 Days of Bruce project! How about a downloadable version?

KeymasterMy own lazy file handling has let me down here… I really must get around to putting everything in one place. I swear I’ve heard this.
It was much easier when I had a shelf of cassettes!
EDIT: Sorry @OSCAR – I thought I had this one, but I don’t.

KeymasterI only just caught this, @js79 – sorry. I forget which one I used, but I’ll try and dig it out.

KeymasterThanks for the kind comments

KeymasterThanks for this – I understand from @Lori Abrams that Rainbow’s Cadillac and Prairie Dog Town were played also.

KeymasterI’m intrigued by the heavy duty camera on the very left of the picture… I wonder if that was for the venue only, or something else…?
Si Twining
KeymasterOkay, I have some answer to those now… including the beastly setlist question.
Any more for any more?
I’m going to turn the tables on you all as well, after the 20 Days project…!

KeymasterWelcome aboard, Alicia… plenty more bells and whistles to come soon.

(… which might appear odd underneath the article at the moment!)

Keymaster…. aaand here’s a post to show you that it’ll also display on the Board!

KeymasterIf anyone has any of the setlist to this show, I’d really appreciate it

KeymasterYou’re close with the origins, Jackie!
These are some great questions – I’m going to have fun with answering these. Any more to add?
That setlist question is a beast. GG is right – it could maybe a separate project going forward for all of our users. I’ll answer it, though!

KeymasterAmbushed on my own website! Haha
Okay, you’ve twisted my arm… Post any questions or e-mail them to si@bruuce.com
Could be fun!

KeymasterI thought I already had! That’ll teach me to pay attention… sure, A.J., I’ll get it sorted.

KeymasterEach to their own. I’ve put up a page thanking Bobby and Doug, which is really what their “Hall of Fame” pages were about in December:
https://bruuuce.com/2014/04/09/thank-you-bobby-and-doug/
However!
I’m currently writing a new page welcoming Ross and Gibb. From what I hear, they are two exciting additions. This is what I’ve written so far, in part:
Quote:Bobby and Doug both made invaluable, irreplaceable contributions to the music. And they are not being replaced – there is no sax player in the world who could replace Bobby Read. Same for the harmonies and guitar of Doug Derryberry. We’re being treated to something new… a change in direction, just as when The Range went their separate ways, and later when John Molo, Debbie Henry, Michael Baker, John d’Earth and co moved on (and it’s notable that they have all guested since). These changes have earnt our close attention for the last thirty years. This is actually the first turnaround in permanent band members since Sonny joined in 2002, so it marks an exciting time in Noisemakers history. Many of you have commented to me how much colour Andy Leftwich added when Bruce and Ricky Skaggs would trade musicians on tour, so a fiddle is a wonderful addition. Likewise with a change in voice across the stage on guitar.
I’m all for a balance of opinions… but Bruce has made some changes in the past that people jumped on before they heard the end product (“Almost no piano” in 2002, to pick one!). Not many complained at the end product though. Let’s wait and see what comes – a fiddle is tremendously exciting, I think.
This is a change in direction, rather than a new band. I don’t think it means we won’t hear some songs any more – just a new slant on them. As the band evolves, so will the songs. Isn’t that why we follow them?

KeymasterThanks!
They’re all WordPress sites, but I’ve adapted the templates a lot where I felt it necessary, as I’m very picky about design.
Happy to do the same for others!
