I like the idea of being able to customise the colours/colors of the new proposed site, but I was wondering if it would be possible to take it step further and include another add on feature. Knowing how you like to use the democratic process and I’m sure voting on this would show how popular this accessory would be. so….. any chance of a David Day filter?

A quick look on Google map shows that Route 25 runs from Denver down into New Mexico and I think that BH once told a story at a concert where he stopped at a service station in Alburquerque for a packet of Ding Dongs and some BBQ charcoal briquettes, so a very strong connection there.

But kind sir, you make me blush! 😳

For, I am not the kind of person that would accept to such a casual invitation without the explicit promise of being satisfactorily chaperoned….

WHAT KIND OF A PERSON DO YOU THINK I AM!

Saying that, it is an extremely generous offer DD and have learnt never to look a freebie in the mouth. It’s going to cost you a few bucks especially as I would be coming from the UK.

Can I also point out, so there is no confusion, that I never kiss on the first date. The good news is I’m open to pretty much anything else.

Believe it or not there is a word that kinda has XXV in it.

I think Si said there is going to 25 songs on the cover album to represent 25 years. That is pretty extensive and there you have it, X ten 5 and IV being the fourth CD….

    Hi Gray
I can help you out with your first request. You can download it for free from the sugarmegs site. I have had it for a while and listen to it regularly as i think it is one of the best BH solo shows on the site and a good quality recording.
    Here’s the link

Search Bruce Hornsby (obviously) and it will put up all his shows and other stuff he has guested on.

    Enjoy

    Hey David

    Back atcha!

You got my creative juices flowing and I thought, how can I get that “warm, fuzzy feeling” going for DD, so I did this for you…

    What a team, Victor!!

Two heads definitely better than one, me thinks.

I can see it now, our names in lights….

OK, I’m going to run these up the flag pole and see if anyone salutes them.

I thought about the possibility of “The way it isn’t”, but this is far too lazy, so went back and read Si’s original post to see what he was looking for. The recognition of the 25th anniversary of “The way it is” and this being the fourth cover CD. So using Victor’s idea, I came up with “The siIVer years” or “The siIVer tones”

    I’m done
    Luv to y’all

Kat, I really think you need to be more careful where DD is concerned. We all know how susceptible he is to new ideas and having thoughts put in his head. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t already reached for the peroxide bottle and gone platinum.
Bruce is gonna think ‘Dreadlock Dave’s’ grandad has turned up! 😮

I know that BH uses the key B major to play ‘Look out any window’, which come to think of it, must be something that is very hard for DD to do, due to the thick metal bars :P

Oh no! Please tell me that ‘Chas and Dave’ won’t be releasing another all time classic now that Spurs are on their way to Wembley.

Check them out if you’ve never had the pleasure
