Isn’t there a dance that goes along with that rhyme? Who could we find to demonstrate it?

We have bruuuce with the Noisemakers! I do need a “Noisemakers fix”! 😆 We have bruuuce with Bela!
And…..We have DDD, which you don’t want to miss!
I can either stay at home and “pick my nose” and wait for DDD, or…..I can get on the road as a Road Scholar and be a true Road Warrior! 😆 I need some help! What do I do? Where do I go from here?

Why not “go for it” and do everything?-including a stop in Denver? You know you want to… 😆
As for the vertigo- when your head clears, simply start driving in the direction you’re facing. Since Bruce seems to be touring almost everywhere this spring/summer, you’re bound to run into him!

ParticipantVictor,
I’m sure Bruce smiled when he read it. The comment was really funny;I wouldn’t be surprised if Bruce didn’t “bust out laughing” when he gave it a perusal.

ParticipantAfter retrieving my slide rule from storage and painstakingly calculating the songs in my music library ,I ended up with a grand total of 2,663 songs.
I like to listen to the full length concerts first, then move to the individual daily doses. By the time a new “listening cycle” begins again, there are many new shows & doses to enjoy, mixed in with the old favorites.
After reading the posts in this topic,I have a question of my own: David, how do you get the daily doses onto reel- to- reel tape?

ParticipantAre these “little birdies” ones we have heard sweetly singing on previous Bruce tribute albums? Or are they new birdies in the nest we haven’t heard before?

ParticipantDavid,
There is only one true Czar of Blabbery on this board, no matter how many other people have that moniker written under their name. Just know the title is used in the sprit of friendship-this community would be much the poorer without your input.
Hmmm…since the C of B title is already taken & I’m not really the cheerleader type, maybe I could be the Board mascot. All I need is a mascot costume. What would the official Bruuuce.com Board mascot be? I’m basically shy,but I would be sort of anonymous in the costume,so I could set my “inner dancer” free! 😆
Looking forward to Daily Dose Day,
Jackietreah
ParticipantWow,I can hardly wait! What exciting news;this Daily Dose Day will be a dream come true for music lovers.
Thanks Si,David,Bruce and everyone else who is helping to make this fantastic event possible.

ParticipantMonica,
Glad you’re on the road to recovery.
As Si gently reminds us from time to time, we’re not just members of a fan website, we’re a community. We’re here for each other in good times as well as bad…
Check your PM Inbox.

ParticipantI stand corrected….
I’m afraid my memory isn’t what it used to be! 😳
treah
ParticipantIf memory serves me correctly, (and that’s a big “if”)- I believe it was Si who thought up the titles Talk Of The Town,King Of The Hill and the ever popular monikers Czar Of Blabbery and Board Legend.
Maybe Si & this unnamed person could put their heads together and think of a title for Mary…
Jackie
treah
ParticipantMary,
Wow,excuse me while I take my foot out of my mouth 😳 …. Ahh,that’s better. 😆
Believe me, I was thinking about Snoopy calling himself a “World War I Flying Ace” when I suggested your new title, not the smart-aleck interpretation David & molo3 might use. 😆 Think I’ll leave the bestowing of titles to Si from now on;he really has a great talent for it.
Next time, I’ll save my “brilliant” ideas ’til after that first cup of coffee has kicked in.
Jackie

ParticipantDavid & Kat,
Hope y’all don’t mind-I’m going to jump into the fray.
Since SMP isn’t technically a “Road Warrior,” I’d suggest a title such as “Flying Ace.” This idea is off the top of my head,I’m sure someone else from the Board can think of an even better one.

February 17, 2011 at 12:57 am in reply to: New here to Bruce Base- Any teenage Bruce fans on here? #32484treah
ParticipantChristina,
I’m sorry to say, you’ve got the “wrong” Bruce.
This Board primarily deals with news & views about Bruce Hornsby. You’re looking for a community of Bruce Springsteen fans.
Although the “two Bruces” play together from time to time, you won’t find much Springsteen news here.
Before you leave, take a listen to the “daily doses” on the Bruuuce.com home page, you might find you like the “other Bruce’s” music, too!

ParticipantHere is a running commentary of yesterday’s performance of the musical. It was written by Mike Rafael and posted on his Facebook page:
?”2/3rds thru the first act of our 2nd preview on SCKBSTD. Very special feeling finally seeing it in front of paying customers. Really hot audience, right with us so far. Wish I could bottle this one and take it with us (*smile*).”

ParticipantThanks for the link,Monica. I love all the behind the scenes tidbits revealed in the interview. And of douse, Bruce’s thoughts about his projects are always enlightening.
I really hate that I’m going to miss the festivities in Norfolk. I know you all are going to have a great time!
Hoping the musical will be so successful, it will launch a worldwide tour & stop really close to where all the Bruce fans live.
This may be stretching reality a bit, but a girl has to have her dreams…

ParticipantHey MVF,
It’s great to hear from you again! It sounds like Santa visited your house early this year.
You’ll “get the hang” of all the new technology in no time,if I (the last person in my family to get an iPhone) learned the complexities of the smartphone, it’ll be a breeze for you.
.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
