The House of Blues just phoned me and told me that the concert has been canceled.

How sure are you that West Coast tour dates have been cancelled? I have tickets for the show tonight at the House of Blues in Anaheim, and there’s nothing about it on their website. The websites for other upcoming shows also have nothing about it. Thanks for any information you can give me.

The room was tiny — maybe 300 people? — but packed.
The ticket price was, indeed, dauntingly steep, but you did get a free copy of “Intersections.” It made for a somewhat older (including me), better-dressed (not including me), but more sedate (no comment) crowd.
There was no charity involved as far as I could see.
