Funny though, there’s a rumored show date in my area (according to Pollstar) on the same day the Waybacks will also be playing in my area. Before, it would be a tough call, but I’d probably go to the Bruce show even though it’s more $$$. Now it’s pretty easy, and I’ll be at the Waybacks.

Posted the patch tracks for the Konocti show. The fix is a little more involved than one might hope, c’est la vie…
Downloading Konocti and Saratoga now…310+ KB/sec. Have set 1 of Konocti playing already, a very nice upgrade, will be working on a set of patch tracks soon…

The coolest part was seeing Bonnie Raitt watching the show in the third row and spotting an unused guitar amp sitting on the stage just waiting for the encore….
(Spotted her in front of me at the Feb 3 solo show this year as well, but obviously she didn’t take the stage. Could have been really cool, like some of the 98 Yoshi’s shows with just Kimock, if she had…)

The other day I had the chance to run the Zoom H4 with the internal mics and my Studio Projects LSD2 > Presonus Firebox > MacBook setup from the exact same spot for a band called Ockham’s Razor. Here’s one track from both sources:

Getting my bit torrent capabilities up and running may take a while, but I was able to put flacs of this show up on my mac.com public folder. If someone can download and torrent it for me, shoot an email to mailto:satterwill@mac.com
It’s a pretty good deal in my opinion. The built in mics are not great, but at least comparable to other machines in its price range.
One big advantage it has over the others in its price range (eg the Edirol R9) is that it has XLR inputs and provides phantom power, so you can use it with real mics. However, it won’t work with the minplug based stealth mics without an adapter.
