I’ll be at Wolf Trap. Dragging the parents too but I think they’d be up for at least saying hi to everybody.
I hope you guys have a wonderful time. I’m really sad that I’m not going to make it, wound up with bronchitis again. As badly as I want to see Bruce and the guys and everyone here (especially Si since it’s been forever), it’s just going to be too much running around too soon. Least I’ve got Richmond and Atlantic City to look forward too. Have a blast and be safe.
I’ll be there. Planning on coming into town on Saturday morning. Also trying to talk my mom into coming, she’s thinking about it. So looking forward to the mother of all meetups, and some great music too. Who’s got the can of hurricane repellent?
I’m not sure if I can make it at 3, not sure how long I’ll be on the house tour, but I’ll be there by 430 for sure and maybe earlier than that. So looking forward to Saturday.
I have an extra ticket for this show that I’d love for someone to take and enjoy the concert. I thought I was going to be able to make it but it’s just too far. Still doing Biltmore, Englewood and the NY show though. Drop me a line if you want it, no charge, just need to know where to send it.
Like everyone else, I was shocked when I saw the email from Si. My heart goes out to all the Hornsbys, I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose a son/nephew/grandson/such a wonderful person and I know it never goes away but I hope that the memories and the love and the music and the family around them are of some comfort.
You probably already got it figured out, but it’s Bruce and the Noisemakers. Didn’t see an opening act listed, but that may or may not mean anything. Ticketbastard is the only way I could get a ticket, and I’m in the 200 section, so if you haven’t already, you might want to do it soon. I’ve been in that House of Blues casino, we went last October, and it’s pretty nice. They converted the old Showboat over and I imagine it’s totally an HOB by now.
