This is a genuine game changer – a different way to listen to live shows. Have you ever heard a Bruce Hornsby concert with no piano? What about with no vocals? Or a drum and bass version of Life in the Psychotropics? Well now you can!
We’ve isolated each instrument from an outstanding show in Dallas in 2015, where you’re able to listen to one instrument on its own, turn it off, pick your combination, or turn the volume up or down on any of them. If there’s a mix that hits just right for you, you can share it with others.
This is a custom player that I wrote just for this website, so it belongs to all of you. If you have any suggestions for improvements (including a name!) please let me know. For now, I’ve called it the Soundboard.
Click on any song on the setlist to go direct to that song. It’ll save your mix for next time you come back. The band on this night was:
Bruce Hornsby (piano, dulcimer), Ross Holmes (fiddle.mandolin), Moyes Lucas (drums, washboard), J.V. Collier (bass), Gibb Droll (guitar) and J.T. Thomas (keyboards).
Hope you enjoy!
